Arya Samaj is based on ten basic principles. If we follow the ten principles in our daily live we can enrich ourselves, friends and families and the society in which we live.
The 10 Principles are as follow:
1. The Prime Source of Truth: God is the prime source of all knowledge and all that is known through knowledge.
2. The One Adorable GOD: GOD is Existent, Intelligent and Blissful. He is Formless, Omnipotent, Just, Merciful, Unborn, Endless, Unchangeable, Beginningless, Unequalled, the Supporter of All, Omnipresent, the Master of all, Immanent, Unaging, Immortal, Fearless, Eternal, Holy and the Maker of all. He alone is worthy of being worshipped.
3. The Scripture of all True Knowledge: Vedas are
the scripture of all true knowledge. It is the paramount duty of all
Arya to read them, teach them, recite them and hear them being read. 
4. Belief in Truth: One should always be ready to accept the Truth and give up Untruth.
5. Practice of Dharma: One should do everything according to the dictates of Dharma i.e. , after due refelection over right and wrong.
6. Universal Well-being of the Society: The prime object of Arya Samaj is to do good to the whole world, i.e. to look to its physical, spiritual and social welfare.
7. Love for All: One’s dealings with all should be regulated by Love and Justice in accordance with the dictates of Dharma.
8. Knowledge and Avidya:One should promote Vidya (knowledge) and dispel Avidya (Illusion) or Nescience.
9. Our Welfare in Other’s welfare: One should not be contented with one’s own welfare alone, but should look one’s own welfare in the welfare of all.
10. Duty and Liberty: In matters affecting well-being of the society, an individual should subordinate his/her personal liking.While in following the rules of individual welfare, he/she should enjoy the freedom of action.
